    2nd alternator, 12V

Lt Dan instead of a solenoid I would use a solid state relay far less current draw and very reliable. another thing I would try is the glow plug relay off a diesel truck very high current capacity and low amp draw. Roy

What did you do to your deuce this week?

we had about 30" of snow so I took it out to the property and explored a little. It's pretty cool getting that truck into a powerslide and four wheel drift. I was on my own so I couldn't get any action shots but here is one from when I got home.

Cost of M35A2 465 Diesel motor oil and filter change??

55 Gallon drums are convenient but are usually more expensive than jugs. i have worked in industry and purchased lubes wholesale and it is true there also. the larger the container the more it costs. i still buy the drums because i get the drum and they are worth more to me than the plastic jugs.

a bobber drives somewhat better but it's still a big old simple truck with little or no conveniences. if you like strong and simple you are all set. if you want instant gratification go somewhere else.

hyd hoses don't look bad. i have a friend who has all the equipment to make hoses so i can at least keep the price reasonable. all the radiator hoses are very rotten and cracked that will be one of the first things i do.

M543A2 finally home from drum. Thanks Doghead.

Is that a wig? i thought those were his real side burns. i figured the crappy voice was from being dead so long, even the king has to decompose a little. played with the truck a little, checked out the winches and boom control. moves around nicely and quietly. both hand throttles are stuck and...
