Pete, The old rule of thumb for a truck/trailer was to measure the distance from the articulation point to the center of the tandem and multiply by two. I think this would underestimate the MK48 turning radius due to the limitation the hydraulic articulation system places on the maximum angle...

Does anyone have a source or a cross reference number for the lug nuts on the MK48 FPU or trailers. I would like to buy some new extras, but have had no luck finding them. The numbers are 19196FX RH and 19197FX for LH. The NSN's are 5310-00-899-9381 and 5310-00-229-9549 respectively...
