I have a 1976 M880 and I'm trying to come up with a functional spare tire mount w/o having a tire sliding around in the bed. I have a HMMWV spare tire mount but I just can't see how to mount it so I could lower the tail gate. Any thoughts, pics or ideas would be great.

I put my gauge panel together but now the brake warning light stays on with the brake on or off. I know it not the switch on the "parking brake". The wiring diagram on the top of the page does not show that circuit. Do I have to look in the A3 manual to find it? :grin:

Has anyone figered out a way to use 12v headlamps in a deuce without rewiring the truck. I was thinking about resistors or a reostat the get it down to 12v. I can't find a headlamp under $50.00 bucks.

I looking to get a military truck ether a deuce or a 5-ton. I'm checking on an M52 but i have read that 5-ton parts are hard to get and i should just get a deuce. I want the multifuel engine and I'm looking to bob it. The M52 looks looks the big brother to the deuce. Any advice?
