Correction. Those pics were taken in Mesquite. Some where around Town East but can't locate. What about Plano now? Do you have GPS coords and know if it's legal?

    Deuce not starting, now what?

When I have issues starting my deuce I ONLY pull the throttle rod out by an inch. Anything more than that and it likes to run-away. Just FYI

    Tire flat!!

On standard rims it's great for lubrication but we don't have that issue..... could you imagine trying to shoe-horn a tire on with a hand tool? YUCK

    Deuce not starting, now what?

Take them out and do a full break down. One at a time so you don't mix the parts up. From what I can see they are fairly simple assemblies. Might require a bit of polishing after you break away any major corrosion. OR just buy a working set and put them in so you can have spares. Silly question...

    Convert to Automatic??

I was under the impression that they were both the same SAE pattern. Either way there has to be an Allison out there with a PTO that could bolt up to the multi. Or at least one with PTO that would bolt to a DT466.

Right up until the point that they put ACTUAL "no tresspassing" signs we were messing around near 820 and Post and Paddock. There are a few other options. These shots were taken in a little forest in Garland. Nothing special and easily conquered by the Deuce. We have to find a new place now...

    Convert to Automatic??

So after a lovely romp around in the mud a good buddy of mine asked to drive the Deuce. I walked him through it and he noticed the shifting required a spirited push into gear. Then he started talking about an auto trans in a Deuce which brought up a couple of questions I haven't been able to...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

It's always fun to do this. Just let out the clutch, tug a bit and roll on the throttle. Pulled down and ran over many a Mesquite and Small Evergreen this way.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

They were for hottubs. We are breaking them down and making furniture out of them. On a side note... I installed HIDs onto my Deuce... Everybody hates me now.

HanksDeuce: 8" Lift, Bobbed, External Cage, A/C and more Project!

I won't lie... I read "lift kit" and cringed... but it came out good. I'd like to see if your design can take heavy stresses of some aggressive trails though.

Although not an aggressive pattern; they are considered off-road tires and do quite well in most circumstances others than a giant puddle of muck. :-D
