Was going to write it is cheap insurance for the pump itself but then did the numbers. I guess it wouldnt take long buying those inline filters to equal the cost of the pump itselfs.

A extra set of hand will make all the difference. Getting the new exhaust manifold on is tricky to say the least.

Is there a reason you didnt install a filter before the pump? I installed one and was glad i did when it filled up with junk from the tank (cleaning out the tank is on my todo list).

You have to run a wire to it and there is a spot of rubber hose that you take out and install the electrical pump.

The stock fuel pump is attach to the engine on the passenger side near the front. For the turbo you will need to install an electrical pump near the fuel tank. The reason is becasue it pushes rather than pulls like the stock pump does.

Looks like it was a looseground. Im going to replace them all soon as i can. :beer:

I will check the grounds tonight. I cleaned and tighted them when i did the turbo around the same time i did the 12v conversion. Thanks for a place to start lol.

I have an 85 09 that im having trouble with. I have converted it to 12v about 6 months ago without any issues. This weekend got in and turned the key to hear click. Check the batteries which are good so that eliminated the batteries and alternator so i figured its something to do with the...

Its not made sure before i reinstalled the Turbo. I'm running 4-5 psi at 60. I think i need to turn my pump up a little is all.

Looks like my t-case is leaking. Going to keep filling it until i get a free weekend to replace the seal. Thanks for the help guys.

I have noticed over the past few weeks that i am getting spots on the back of my truck after i drive it around. Has any one had this happen or know what causes it?
