Hello, Tinstar,
I usually look for an item or answer on my own. The question I was asking was a spur -of -the-moment event and I felt I needed to ask someone with knowledge about the particular subject. I am new to CUCVs other than what my unit utilized in the Army. I have done 99% of the work...
Cucvrus,
Thanks for the reply. I am new to the CUCV world. That was the exact answer I needed. I found the board container you led me to. I appreciate you taking the time to help. I'll remember when I may need to open and extract the board while troubleshooting timer problems. Again thanks for...

Please, Please, Please, keep us glued to this thread! This is beyond awesome!! The detail is fascinating. Thanks for the pics and updates.

JCKnife,
I know what you're goin' thru. My '70 has been sitting in my barn for 8+ years and has zero brakes. I rebuilt the air-pack in June, bled all the wheels (with a pressure tank) and new dot5. Then road tested for pedal pressure. The farther I went, the pedal went closer to the floor. I...
That's a great job you did! My squad and I were detailed by my supervisor to paint (by hand) with brushes, the 4 color paint schemes on the 45 vehicles and trailers assigned to our Direct Support Platoon in Germany in 1978. We had to chalk the designs and label the number of the paint color...
