Camperized slide in for my M923A2 Ideas?

Or a shipping container maybe? Is that BC like in Canada eh? You must have a lot of used containers out there that could be modified. Interesting post... Good Luck.

    Updated pg #5; I now own a 1990 M923A2.

I'm noticing a common theme with the wives. After a bunch of screaming and one night on the couch all is good now again. Luckily the three kids love the M931A2.I certainly have no use for a truck and my back is totally screwed from so many trips in the back of a deuce (or several other army...

    importing a deuce to canada!

I have brought two trucks home to Canada with no issue. I purchased both from SS members and made sure that both were registered properly with a valid State registration. Make sure you notify CBP 72 hours in advance and make sure your paperwork is in order. So I suggest purchasing from an SS...

New Michigan License Plate Law for MV's Passes

Do your inspections and have a 'safe' vehicle, carry the required documentation for your specific jurisdiction, and PLEASE be very polite if you are stopped. Attitude has quite a lot to do with the issuing (or not) of a ticket. In Ontario it is not against the law to give attitude but believe...

    Deuce, walk around!

I would suggest to start review the pretrip inspection procedures that civvy commercial vehicle drivers have to do each day. Yes there will be some differences but the 'meat of it' will be pretty close. Loose wheel nuts, lights that don't work, tread wear, fluid leaks, etc... Once you do a...

How to contribute to the site?

I would think that non-monetary contributions are made to the site every time someone shares information or an experience good or bad. I'm not really sure who runs this site but I will be paying my annual fee just to help a bit. This site is beyond amazing!

    Holy CRAP... axle U bolts

I inspect trucks as part of my duties and Ubolts are often overlooked by drivers during their pretrip inspections. It is considered a major defect and puts the truck out of service with possible charges. Just sayin'...

    M35 no brake lights

Failing that check the wires. Mine were out and I found a "field repair" splice in the wire that had come apart. Good luck.

Road Trip---Chicago to Port Huron MI.

Hello Everyone: In the next few days I will be picking up an M35A2 in Chicago and driving to Port Huron, MI. I was wondering if anyone could offer some driving tips, preferred routes, etc... Google Maps only goes so far... The truck is in great shape and I have a CDL (although not needed) so...

What Model is This and would I need a CDL in Texas to drive it?

Yes to CDL. Buy the truck and have someone drive it for you while you obtain the proper licence. It will be well worth it. Good luck.:tank:

    m925 w/w brake light issue

I found that a 'field repair' had been made to my brake light wiring so I just had to redo the connection. Do the blackout brake lights work? Check them as it may help diagnose the problem.
