    CUCV vs. Slave Cable

I've arced a slave cable when trying to jump start a M60 off one of the M10A forklifts. Blew a big chunk right off the end of the enternal plug on the 60 side. Not sure what caused the arc but it scared the crap outta me.

PoofStalk 2012. It's that time of year.

Trust me I would if I had the free time and money to afford to do it. Right now due to the divorce and moving back home I'm getting restarted on things.

    Rubber Track Pads.

Best of luck to you. I tried a couple of years ago to get some pads for a M41 Walker Bulldog and was unable to find anything. Was even watching GL to see if they happened to be scrapping track that would use the same pads but with no luck.

Added Convoy Lights to the Deuce

Finally got a chance to get a video of the lights at night. Also showed the interior armor light that I put in the cab though its hard to tell what it is. Had to take the road across the creek bottom between 2 fields of corn, was pretty cool to do that drive with the lights turned on.

    Uses for Deuces

Was out brush cutting along the ditch on the farm. Front end of the tractor slid into the slimy muck. Was unable to get the front end out using the brakes and ended up sliding the back end into the muck as well. Got stopped before I got it very buried but the bottom 2 steps on the tractor had...

I believe they are "Y" plates for that classification of vehicle. My deuce has collector plates on it but those will soon be going away for different reasons.

    10 Ton GOER Wrecker

Ft. Eustis is taking in quite a few pieces of equipment right now as they are expanding some of their displays. Heck, they even just took a M60A3 and a M4A3 for display from our museum. Definately contact them as I'm sure they would want it. If you need some help getting contact info PM me...

    Armor/Cav Museum Stuff

Thanks for the kind words Rory. They're shutting us down so we didn't have much choice in the matter. I would rather have seen the artifacts go to another museum like they did as opposed to the DRMO.....and we all know what happens to armored vehicles that go to a DRMO lot.

    Armor/Cav Museum Stuff

A bunch of those artifacts you posted came from the Fort Snelling Military Museum (my museum) PB. M5 Stuart, M3 Halftrack, M274 Mule, M38, V100, M728 CEV, M4A1E8 Sherman, M151A2, and I believe the M48 you posted as well. Glad you finally got to see them. The Stuart and HT shouldn't need much...

Just remember that all of the older trucks all came out OD and were painted in their respective camo patterns by the end user units.

looking for advice.... found a deuce?

Nothing like a $2300 paperweight, I would require a title. If it was going to stay on a farm/private property its entire life then it wouldn't be such a big deal

Questions about transporting after purchasing from GL

Some bases won't allow you to drive off post, have to tow or haul it. Check with the specific base you have in mind.
