Also FYI - Batteries + Bulbs has the SLI22NF Duracell Ultra for $59 with a $10 core charge. Not vouching for the product, just doing some internet searching.

    Proper trailer for 802A

Thanks! This is a learning adventure for me, as I don't have my 802A yet. Just trying to have things properly planned out and such.

    Proper trailer for 802A

Thank you sir. I believe I will be able to utilize the trailer I've got. And thanks for the info regarding the tires/wheel combo. I need to check to see exactly what I have.

    Proper trailer for 802A

Agreed. They are 8" high. Thanks for the measurement!

    Proper trailer for 802A

I'm liking that concept. I had already thought about removing the hinges so I could set the panel aside, but I didn't like the idea of them just dangling around in that hole while the genset was running.

    Proper trailer for 802A

What I need is to find the distance up from the bottom of the skid to the bottom of the side panel door... and the distance from the hinge to where the door has the angled cut in it. I can see that it should be something like 4.5" shy of the full 18" width of the door panel. If the two of...

    Proper trailer for 802A

~61" x 32" will certainly "fit" on ~96" x 48". It's those 18" panel doors that are throwing a wrench into the cogs. Worst case scenario, I could always ground-mount it 5 feet or so from my main breaker box. That solves a number of issues... but creates a whole new set of issues, such as...

    Proper trailer for 802A

Thank you for that info sir. I have this unit currently dedicated to the upcoming 802A. I may want to consider a riser as some guys have suggested, or perhaps having a friend of mine who is handy with a welder to provide a bit of relief work on the rails in the applicable spts for the side...

    Proper trailer for 802A

Yeah, I understand that 4x8 is plenty for picking up the 802, but I'm hoping to mount it permanently on that trailer. I' love to see pics of anyone else's 4x8's and mods they made. The idea of raising the unit up via a platform is an intriguing one. My question is how adversely that would...

That's an excellent point. I can't weld but I do have a friend who can. Thanks

    Proper trailer for 802A

Soo...... FloridaAKM.... how 'bout that 1987 M103A3 Kasel Genset Trailer ?

    Proper trailer for 802A

Yeah, I was hoping/willing to find one mounted on a trailer, but found a SS member who had an 802A on hand, but no trailer included.

    Proper trailer for 802A

I'm in the process of prepping for an 802A. Am considering mounting it on a trailer rather than permanent mount. Grabbed a used 4x8 utility trailer from a friend... running the numbers now, rather than BEFORE the purchase () and am realizing 4x8 may not be enough trailer. For width I...

    Recent MEP Auctions

I'm not knocking the unit at all... and perhaps I misread the info. What I see stated for the 403D-11G is 9.3 kWm @ 1500 rev/min. I really just wanted to see what sort of fuel consumption one would find from a brand new unit with bells and whistles and newest technology, etc. At an entry point...
