    915a1 Air ride seat

You need some of the box to adapt from floor pattern to the seat base on air ride seat. How much you use is up to you. Just make sure to keep your head from hitting the roof. Not much give in the roof.

Convert M920 to all 12v, or all 24v?

There is almost no 24 volt load on these trucks. The 12 volt side runs the headlights, markers, flashers, fuel shut off, heater motor, and everything except the starter. I love the 24 volt starter in cold weather. The 12v side is what you should consider the primary side. I would be pumped...

Convert M920 to all 12v, or all 24v?

I had the 24volt side of my alternator go bad on my 915a1. I removed that p.o.s. component and had the alternator rebuilt. It is a standard 12 volt unit after you pull the junk off the back. I then installed a 12 to 24 volt duvac in the battery box. You need one that turns off with the...

    m915a1 pintle towing question.

I picked up a 25,000 lb pintle, air brake flatbed this weekend. I had to remove the gladhands and cap the lines for the fifth wheel trailer hook up. I crawled under the truck to look for shut off valves and did not find any. The rear air lines have shut offs and they worked perfectly. I was...

M-920 won't run past low idle.

There is a screen in the top of the PT pump. I have seen a hex cap and a slotted cap. It is right on top of the pump near the fuel solenoid.

M915a1 marker light wire colors coming from headlight switch???

There is quite a bit good info on this problem in this thread. I have modified the wiring in 3 trucks and they all work great now. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?67474-Headlight-switch-for-m915a1

    Post Delete?

I can not figure out how to delete a classified add I placed in August. I am sure I am just missing something obvious. I anyone knows I would appreciate a heads up.

    M923a1 air brake question

Make sure the gladhand shut off valve is off. You could be supplying air to an invisible trailer. They use a lot.

    8.3 big cam turbo conversion

I can be as ignorant as I want. It is my choice and there is nothing you can do about it.

    8.3 big cam turbo conversion

I am also interested in installing a turbo on my 69 8.3 liter big cam 250 Cummins. I was thinking about installing a return line t to spit the oil between the oil pan and the turbo intake. This should help lube the turbo and make that cool smoke that makes an over fueled motor look so cool.

    It' not an M880......

Not many people love on those old dodge trucks. I think they look great and are built like a anvil. I hope you put the tin worm to bed. Sounds like you did your best. No Charles Bronson jumping. I would hate to see that truck in a U shape.

Hauling grain with the 915A1 tractors

You are not the only guy enjoying these trucks for farm work. This was our third harvest with the 915a1 trucks. I think the cat is out of the bag because the last batch sold for more than 11 grand each. I saw trucks just as nice 2 1/2 years ago sell for $2500 to $3500. I have a post on here...

    M915A1 not fueling properly

There is a governor in the PT pump. It senses boost and will not let the pump push fuel until there is enough pressure. It is called the aneroid. I do not think it would cause the truck to not slow but it could if it was sticking. I think you are looking at a rebuild on the PT. pump.

    Headlight switch for m915a1

I had to cut out a couple of bad terminals from my pigtail. I just replaced the melted spots with spade terminals.

    Heath's M35A2... the beginning

    She is a leaky one

The only way pipe dope helps seal a flare fitting is to act as a lubricant. Brass fittings always seal better with lube. The original poster has plenty of lube on the brass already. On the positive side all of the oil that leaks out will lube the airpack and keep the air tanks from rusting out.

    My Black Mesa Pinz

Love it. Now all you need is a bracket for your crow bar.

    ABS ECU Protection - Ideas

I looked up 24 volt dc surge protector on e-b the auction that cannot be named. Several items came up. They looked to be adaptable to your unit. I do not have a 900 series truck, so that is as for as I will be looking.

    M37 - Homemade troopseats

I like it. You are not going to show the truck as a restored to perfect vehicle. You will put a bunch of your stuff in there and it will stay dry. Try to get a little bow in your top pieces so water does not puddle in your tarp. Good work!
