    power bleeder parts list

I am looking to build my own power bleeder, as I can't seem to find a pre made one to buy. I was hoping someone could talk me through building one, including a detailed parts list. Any help would be appreciated!

    Deuce idle issue

ok all...I've been trying to figure this one out for over a year...since the day I bought my truck. I have learned to compensate for it, but I'd rather it just be RIGHT! Ok, my truck starts completely fine...barely touch the button and she's purring like a kitten. She roars going down the...

My deuce, finally done! (for the most part..lol)

    Fuel system bleed

I have read many posts on this topic, but nothing was written specifically on my question. I did Jatonka fuel system change a week ago, found out I had a bad in-tank (didn't run at all) pump...so I swapped tanks (I had a spare tank) and that pump, while it runs, I dont think it has much...

Fuel Filter upgrade...and now it wont start :-D

I just put on Jatonka's fuel filter kit on my deuce and tried to bleed from the top valve on the filter housing and I'm getting no diesel at all from that valve. Am I doing something wrong? The change out was incredibly easy, but now I can't get my normally VERY easy starting deuce to fire...

A little help with engine troubleshooting

My deuce is nearing completion and I'm getting ready to get her on the road. I do have an issue though. She starts right up, first time every time, and idles around 800 rpm with throttle in all the way...purrs like a kitten, only 6k miles on the truck. The issue is when I start driving it, I...

more brake questions, but a different take

does the master cylinder have enough volume to run two air packs? It wouldn't be a totally redundant system, but I was thinking it would be by far the easiest way to reach some level of redundancy without having to reinvent the wheel.

    wheel cylinder volume.

I've read that the wheel cylinders on a deuce are 1 3/8th bore diameter. Does anyone know what the throw is per piston? I'm trying to figure out the volume of the cylinders. Thanks to all.

    need a little explanation...

I have driven 4x4 trucks my whole life, but never anything all that extreme as far as offroading, and always in stock pick up trucks. I'm a hunter mostly, the 4 wheeling just comes with the that trade. I have some questions concerning lock out hubs, vs lockers. I know the lockers lock the...

    Updated deuce pics..

Here's an update on my project. A bobbed, quadcab, shortbed deuce. It has 4 new hemmt wheels, 395's, a new cab welded in and mounted. To do list: Tomorrow I'm finishing up the fenders, the 20th I get a new hard top to stretch, (mine had a gun ring installed and I didn't want to ruin it)...

To tube or not to tube, that is the question...

I have some 15.5's and some hemtt wheels I need to mount soon, and I was wondering what the pros and cons were for innertube use concerning offroad applications. I understand the wheels were built to be tubeless, but I wanted to know it it was safe to use tubes, and also, what advantages...

    Taylor Trading Co. Kudos.

I just wanted to give some serious rep power to Derek with TTC. I just got home from a 12 hour round trip drive to pick up a load of deuce parts. He could not have been more helpful, his prices were extremely reasonable (and less than anyone else I found), and he seems like a good guy in...

Working on the deuce a good workout!

I have been a strongman/powerlifter/fighter my entire adult life. Ever since I bought my deuce I've been very thankful I didn't pick up tennis or golf. While I think a crane would be less painful, I'm glad my years of lifting are finally saving me some money on tool costs! Here are some...

Need a little help finding some parts...

Hey all, I put an ad up in the classifieds but I haven't had any bites...well, one guy, but he got banned after saying he'd sell me what I needed...:?: no clue what happened there. Sorry to invade this forum but I'd like to get my project up and running. Anyway, I am looking for a cancer free...

    Least expensive singles and tires?

I have found several threads relating to singles and tires, but any idea who is gonna be least expensive for 4 single rims and 4 395 tires? Just need a little guidance with prices for all these folks. Thanks again!

    Successful recovery...sort of...

Howdy all, So I drive 4 hours up to Huntsville and picked up my deuce and an M105 Trailer, my first of each. First I'll talk about the truck...(sorry, no pictures at this time, in a hurry, but they will follow) The truck started right up, purred like a kitten actually. After picking up the...

    Bobbed Costs 5ton vs Deuce...

This isn't so much a cost question as a cost observation... It seems on paper that once you start adding bells and whistles to a project, the 5 ton would be the cheaper route...ie, stock power steering, no need to do suspension mods to fit the 16x20's, and readily available single wheels... My...

    Aftermarket engine upgrades

Hello all, New to the site, but I've been around deuces for a long time. After lurking here for awhile, (and using search :P) I have to ask the inevitable question: Why no aftermarket engine upgrades? I think its disgusting that a 1400lb engine with almost 500ci displacement is only...
