    Project Time Once Again

I noticed in either the MVM or Supply Line (don't remember which) the MVPA had an ad for copies of the origional blueprints for the M31 pedistal for $10.98. I might have to order one! Might be an interesting mini project.

    Project Time Once Again

I'd say you are 3-4 weeks from finishing the first one, that'll give you room in the shop for a M43.

M38 A1 for sale Z, Here is where the black out lights are mounted that I remember. There might have been more locations, never really looked into it. Keep up the good work. http://www.m38a1.com/images/models/D_Model/38a1d_04.jpg Here's a better picture. Those "extra" lights in the first...

Didn't the blackout light mount on the drivers fender, not behind the grill?

Pushing a mule is a b**** since the wheels are always locked. What's the matter with his engine? I have that 5KW genset I had at the GA rally that is completely rebuilt (0 time). Everything redone or new except for the rod and crank bearings. Same motor as the mule. You can have it, if you need...

    Project Time Once Again

Here's a true story. We have a guy here at work that has one of the big jap crotch rockets. Almost everything on it is chrome. He got the brilliant idea to chrome his front brake rotors. Needless to say they were only on the bike for one very short ride. The rear brake is the only reason he...

Actually they already have that; think it's a zinc mixture. There's on place in Atlanta. WM had a link to another awhile back.[thumbzup]

Zout, I'd return that kit and order the one from Midwest Military. Notice that the cross piece is one piece? Not to mention you save 98 bucks.[thumbzup]

    Project Time Once Again

Looks totally different than these, who by the way makes them. Looks like the one piece is still in the tub and missing a bend. After really looking at them I'd say both sides are messed up.

    Project Time Once Again

So where did you order them from? I bet I can give you a number to order the correct ones the first time out.

    Project Time Once Again

It's hard to believe that's the same tub! Looking good.

    Project Time Once Again

I disagree PB, we are at 2 months and a day. We should at least have 4 wheels on the ground with the tub ready to drop on... Looks good though!
  18. hndrsonj

    Project Time Once Again

God, I can't believe that was the tub. I read that back in 2008. Zout, on G503 there is a M38A1 tub in the M38 forum in AL at a junkyard that is actually a panels only tub you may be interested in for panel patches.
  19. hndrsonj

    Project Time Once Again

That's not a bad looking tub. Clinto where'd that come from?

    Project Time Once Again

All right, i'll buy that. Why do the flange repair and not just cut out and weld?
