    What is this?

Just wanted to let y'all know what wound up happening with this truck. I found out that the cab is a civilian cab that was swapped out, and the front bumper is incorrect. Since the bed is also incorrect, I decided to pass. At $3500.00, I can't justify the amount of work it would take to redo it...

    What is this?

Anyone know where I could find a radiator for this truck?

    What is this?

I appreciate the input. I've been reading around tonight trying to learn a bit more about this truck. The owner said the front and rear axles don't have differentials in them, but are spools. Is that the factory configuration, or is it more likely that someone welded the differential gears...

    What is this?

I happened across this truck today, and am considering bringing it home. Trouble is, I don't know a whole lot about it. The gentleman that owns it said it was a 1941 half ton, so I think it's a WC. Is that right? It's mostly complete, but the radiator is missing. I think the bed is actually a...

    Need help IDing a trailer

Hey all. I found this thing sitting in a fenced parking lot the other day. I'm working on finding the owner and trying to bring it home, but I'd like to know what it is. I have two crummy cell phone pictures that I'll like to, because they're pretty large and I can't figure out how to shrink...

    Trailering a deuce

I've had a couple of diesel pickups like that- my last one, an '02 F-350 4x4 weighed 8500 pounds with a full fuel tank, gooseneck hitch, tools, tie down straps, etc... In any case, glad the truck made it alright. No way I would have hauled that much on a pickup, though...

    Thinking about an M715 truck...

It does have the flat windshield and canvas top. It's definitely an M715 body. The question is, how much of a step backwards is it in strength? If the original M715 was a "5/4 ton", what is the J10? How much of a step up is it in driveability? What kind of road speed can I expect out of the rig?

    Thinking about an M715 truck...

Hey all. When my wife pointed out an M715 on the local Craigslist, my first thought was "Wow, that thing is ugly". But after looking at it for a while, it's grown on me to the point that I think I might want to bring it home. Trouble is, it's not a 'real' M715. According to the add...

    Dumping Deuce

Really nice job. Gives me ideas. I'd love to know what the part number on the hydraulic motor is. I work on electric forklifts, and that motor looks very, very similar to the 24 volt motors that are used on some electric pallet jacks. I think it may be possible to 'bolt in' a 24 volt motor, but...

    Choosing my first Deuce

How do you tell the difference between a C and D turbo?

    Choosing my first Deuce

Hey all. I've decided to buy a deuce (an A2, to be specific), and need some advice. I've decided that I definitely want a winch equipped truck, but beyond that and general running condition I don't know what to look for. I've seen trucks advertised with Hercules, White, and Continental engines...
