my guess is and this is just a guess there may not be anymore Humvees being sold from the army atleast for awhile just guessing by the the next two autions
im trying to do something similar im trying to convert the plug on my Humvee and hitch to hook up and plug in to a civi dump trailer don't suppose you have any tips or suggestions for me

I seen the mounting brackets on ebay pretty cheap i have a rope that held the antenna down with a clip in my hummwv those cant be expensive its just a rope with a metal clip
congrats on the new hmmwv if you don't mind what did you end up paying
you can get 24 volt head lights on ebay that's were I found mine and a keyed ignition too

my hmmwv was a reserve national guard veichle so it had the typical stuff mre matches/ tm-10 and pmcs log booksx3 and cases /night vision battery very sure its dead/ grid compass/ singal panel even had an old sticker to what unit it was sent to
wooden box in the back were the range control guys...
I couldn't find a dolly to get mine so I had to rent a trailer to go 37 mile
still trailer was cheap to rent
and I never seen so many ppl stare on the way home
was a good feeling

I was at the last auction what was just a few ppl bidding had multiplied to as much as hundreds cant imagine how long it takes a for a first time euc
