Well looks like Im ressurecting this one a bit... I havent done anything except agreed to buy one from a member here. Its a 54 M38A1 and... well its rough to say the least. Basically a frame with axles, transmission, and a transfer case. It also has one fender and a grille! So started shopping...

Ran into some mechanical issues not sure Ill make it in time. Hope it ends up being fun and safe for all.

Still trying to sort out the dragging issue and some electrical. Turn signals arent wanting to work. But looks like the rear end isnt too bad and is working as it should. When I jack up the front wheels they dont spin quite as freely as the rear. Who knows, might be a transmission issue at this...

Moved it from backyard to drive way. Going to try to tackle that dragging issue

How jacked up are the tires? the one I got that was surplussed out of GSA had plenty of tread but horrendous dry rot that eventually lead to failure.

After getting the driverside turn signal socket replaced the driverside was extremely dim.... replaced that one, now turn signals dont want to work and its alternating on fiddling with it. Ugh.
