I spent a whole day pressure washing and flushing my radiator.
If your radiator is slugged up you should pull the freeze plugs out of the block and pressure wash inside the block. I found all kinds of stuff inside mine. Including a metal clothes hanger.. I'm guessing the previous owner tried...
I used a GMC C7000 master cylinder on my bobbed/hot rod. 1 3/4 bore. I planned on using hydroboost like 350tacozilla said. But it stops fine without it.. And, due to space limiting factors, my pedal ratio is only 3.5:1.
With a better pedal ratio you may be good.. If not go hydroboost.
Cant tell you guys how much i appreciate all the kind words.
Sorry i have not responded lately, Im kind of in the middle of obsessing on this winters project.
To answer a few questions;
The top is chopped 8''. And i removed the arch over the windshield, to square it up.
Had to narrow the cab...

I love the 749series just as much as anyone. But...And This is just my experience, I can honestly say. Building a whole new car from scratch was 100 times easier than restoring and trying to keep my stock M135...
Thanks again for all the kind words. I really do appreciate it.
