    Headed to Eglin

Made it home!!! busted pressure plate Haha, yes, yes I did. Thank you, sir, for the follow up. I guess it would have been my ignorance for starting new threads instead of continuing to post or at least posting links to the new thread. Mistake noted! Turned out that most of the fingers on...

M1009 bumpers pita to remove...6 hours...

Yea, that is my only option right now, no torch but I'll probably try to grind down the heads and drill out the post. I'm hoping they aren't too hard for my bits. Now, just need a free day to do it.

M1009 bumpers pita to remove...6 hours...

Oh Lord..... I'm having this issue on my truck right now.... Seeing as I have been working through the daylight hours at my regular job lately, I can't seem to find the time to mess with them. So frustrating, they are the only thing in my way, right now, to making progress in my resto...

    M1009 trasn issue

Ok so the vacuum lines look pretty new except for the small section on top of the pump (felt like bubble gum rolled in dirt). I changed that one out. The pump is only pulling about 7" so I ordered another one, it'll be here thursday. The good news is that with the new hose on and the old pump...

    M1009 trasn issue

Thanks. Yeah the lines felt very dry and loose fit, seems like a good idea to just avoid the headache and change them all out now.

I have the TM open for my project, in the morning, trying to get my truck to shift. It may be obvious, but I had to ask (got me a bit confused)....Is this Vacuum DUMP a typo? (what the heck is that???) They are referring to the PUMP correct? Just tryin to be clear before I take everything...

    Deuce won't MOVE.

http://www.steelsoldiers.com/deuce/52409-how-transmission-changeout.html?highlight=changing+transmission Try this, once you do it once, you should understand it well enough to do it without instruction. It is a rather simple job to do in my opinion, except you are dealing with a lot of weight, I...

    Deuce won't MOVE.

I would agree, check your clutch I had a similar problem earlier this year. Either you're is leaking oil into the clutch or its just plain worn out. Hauling heavy loads would help wearing it thin. I'd smell the fording plug hole, if you toasted the clutch you should be able to smell it.

    Uses for Deuces

Did my first major haul today in my deuce. Loaded her up with 3 yards of gravel for a drainage trench in my yard. I believe that would be around 8000+ lb. She handled it like a champ, but definitely had to use all of each gear. I attempted the highway but after the first hill.... I...

I just locked it out, and since it was empty(for the most part, the boat i won weighed only 300lb), our...

So ... what exactly did I win?

Beat me to it, I just picked up my trailer from Camp Lejeune, NC. got the same thing. M116A3 w/ a m101 cargo box, there were plenty of these combinations there. Great trailer, was able to stuff a small watercraft I also won into it. Sorry to hear about the bad luck on pickup. Luckily for me I...

I have some M35 driver side doors NOS, they are just the shell (no hinges, weatherstripping, glass...etc) $125 only thing is they are big and heavy, have no idea what shipping would be, plus they would need a reinforced packaging as I have heard that they get damaged pretty easily in transit...
