    Troop seat hold down brackets

Guys, I've got all the parts for my troop seats and cover except for the clamps that hold on the seats to the box. Does anyone have a set they'd be willing to part with? Stolen from another thread for reference: #3 & #6 in this image:

Fuel Tank very slow leak and Fuel gauge not registering full

Is the spot of fuel from under the tank or up under the bellhousing area? There is a drain tube up there and it's common to get that wet spot after you shut it off and it sets.

    CUCV M1008 Power Steering Pump

I had that noise on mine and found that a bolt was backing out of the pump and into the backside of the pulley. I had to remove the pulley and replace the bolt with a new one. I believe it was #12 in the diagram.

    smoke at throttle?

I would have continued this in your other thread. I truly think cucvrus was on the right path. It sounds like you still have an internal leak. If the deck on the heads is not perfectly flat new gaskets won't really help, or only temporarily. Is the smoke white or black? If white, definitely...

    New radiator

I'm sure the capacity is in the one of the TM's. Also, if you're reusing your coolant, make sure you catch it clean-not running off all the crap underneath it (frame rails, etc.) You don't want all that dirt/grease in it. Edit: 25 quarts....6.25 gal...

Fresh Resto M1008 Southern CUCV Restoration

Another fine piece of art!:goodjob: I think if we wait long enough, he'll have all of the CUCV's in the country restored and we won't have to worry about doing it ourselves!

    M1009 temp gauge

Thanks for the info. I'd have to find my thread, to remember all the questions I asked, but it is hooked up 12v right now. I believe the main reason for my low temp readings is because I'm reading in the water pump right after the radiator where the water would be it's coolest. I either need...

    M1009 temp gauge

I put a NOS hmmwv gauge in mine next to the volt gauge. I too put the sensor in the water pump. It reads cool, but I know where "normal" operating temp is on it. That way my dummy light is still functional. I am curious about the crossover as well. My setup:

    CUCV no start.

Ok, so the S603 relay equates to the Napa ST80. I saw the part number ST85 also on here. According to the Napa website, the ST80 uses silver alloy contacts and the ST85 uses copper contacts. Other than that they are identical. Price difference is only a couple of dollars, which would be best...

    CUCV no start.

Thanks, I just tested that. As soon as I grounded out that light blue wire the relay started to cycle. After that it cycled fine on it's own, but I did notice a bit of flickering in the lights on the dash, so I'll definitely be getting a replacement (after I find the part#). She fired right up!

    CUCV no start.

Same issue I'm having. My truck sits in the garage all winter (don't want it out in the salt/weather). Ran great when I parked it, but now it's been a couple of months and the glow plugs aren't cycling like they usually do. My wait light comes on, but I never hear the relay cycle and the...

    M1009 Door Adjustment

The pex worked great for me as well. I cannot believe how good the doors close and seal now. :naner:

    M1009 Door Adjustment

I can't find them anywhere local or online. Looks like the GM ones have been discontinued? Also, the GM ones are 9/16" I.D. so I imagine the 1/2" pex or fuel line will take some silicone and persuasion to slide on, but at this point I'm going to give it a try. I'm normally use the right tool...

    M1009 Door Adjustment

Over on the squarebody forum they swear by the 1/2" pex method and since I can't find the bushings in stock anywhere around here I'm going to stop at Lowe's and get a 5' section for $1.86. Great thread thanks guys! [thumbzup]
