I told people that these would be able to turn your cab into a meat locker...These were meant to cool/heat a MUCH larger MRAP interior. Did you choose to mount so high because you wanted to keep the bench seat? Another guy mounted his on the floor between two buckets.

If so, I found an item I'd like to bid on and would need someone to drop off at Fastenal. Small pickup truck or a car with a big trunk could do it...Very man portable without any lift.

I would use teak...If it's good enough to use for Yugoslav AK stocks, it's durable enough for these trucks...

This...Or, if you can get by with a 8ft bed, cut the front 4ft off a deuce bed and you have room for your crew cab while keeping a shorter, handier truck. Heck, if you're going to drop the front tandem, even 2ft off would probably get you the room you want...
