Droop screw adjustment on ld 465 1c

There is no droop screw on non-turbo engines. Check the injector pump manual.

    3" 8-Point Socket Suggestions

OTC Tools (originally Owatonna Tool Company) is a tool and equipment manufacturer. It was founded in Owatonna, Minnesota, by Godfrey Kaplan, who operated a small machine shop there. Kaplan's son Rueben, invented the "Grip-O-Matic" universal gear puller and received his first patent.[1] The tool...

    Theurer M872A1 Years Manufactured

Look at the contract number. The 81 ist the contract year , so the trailer was probably made sometime after 1981.

    Rebuilding the Injection pump

Rustystud, I am not ''concerned'' with the droopscrew, I simply asked for clarification. You made two statements: That the droopscrew : 1. helps add fuel and 2. prevents excessive fuel delivery I fully agree with number 2, but do not understand how the droop screw could ever ''help add fuel''...

    Rebuilding the Injection pump

Now I' even more confused: The droop screw, which can only rest against the stop plate, and keep the fulcrum lever from moving further towards the ''increase fuel'' position, does two things that are exactly the opposite?: (Floridianson) Makes sense: The pressure inside the FDC only changes...

    Rebuilding the Injection pump

I'm confused now. I thought the droop screw was part of the governor, and either it contacts the stop plate, and limits fuel flow, or, when it does not touch the stop plate, it does nothing. What am I missing here?

    Rebuilding the Injection pump

Thank you Rustystud. How does the droop screw help adding fuel?

    Broke my mirror

Just checked the parts TM 9-2320-361-34P (1993) page 246. The picture shows the tube, called brace assembly PN 11608929, and the threaded rod, called rod, threaded end, PN 11608936. What's strange is that the tube is called an ''assembly'', which usually indicates a part made from different...

    Broke my mirror

Well I've always been under the impression too, that these were solid rods with studs inserted. Until the day I got a brand new mirror kit. That's when I found out about the threaded rods . I checked all the broken ones I had kept and they all had the threaded rod inside. They were so rusted...

    Broke my mirror

The stud You broke is just the end of a threaded rod that extends through the upright. You can fix it by replacing the threaded rod with a new one. Any 1/4'' threaded rod will do. The worst problem You will encounter is that You will have to remove the old rod from the inside of the upright, as...

CL Find M35A2 Cab Cover 12256470

This insulated top looks like the one that was on a deuce I bought many years ago directly from DRMO, and that I have since sold. This particular truck was equipped with the ''sound barrier kit''. The kit included the insulated top, an -A3 style Nelson brand muffler with guard, and rubber boots...

Cab heater W/ Reo OA-331 enigne.

The best manuals for gasser owners are the 1965 series of -209 TMs. Hard to find today, unfortunately. I got most of mine 25-30 years ago. Even harder to find are the oldest, 1950s 9-819, and 9-8022 TMs. The later, 1980,-81 series -209 TMs work, too, but the pictures suck. The latest -361...
