I remember reading somewhere that on the civilian trucks,the fuel pressure switch would signal a fuel restriction...ie: a plugged filter.seems that the pressure switch and the water sensor were both wired to the WIF light in...

The short drag link on these gm's puts huge pressure on the studs when the front end is twisted and your trying to steer.the long studs (i have this same block on mine)are under really huge stress.the block is really only a bandaid for the crappy geometry that this particular style...

I ask cause' i assume that a switch to the 700r flex plate,means a difference in the tooth count...so the starter for the thm-400 flexplate wouldn't mesh properly.

if your not going with rear springs i'd suggest a rear shackle flip and 4" front springs.
on my m-1010 i found that 5-1/2" superlift fronts are rather stiff.i think any 4" "softride" pack will be fine in front.ORD makes good stuff.
you will likely have to shim the rear axle any way...

maybe....but no."unit" bearings didn't make an appearance in oem axles until adout '94.(at least in trucks) in dodge axles.on a w-200 it could well be a heavy duty d-44.the axle i'm referring to is a d-60-f with,believe it or not,a 5 bolt pattern.
