I have a non-computerized friend who recently purchased a fairly nice m-715, I am attempting to locate parts for him.
Any body know if Jeep Panels Plus is still in business? Website for them is no longer up.
Is there another vendor with reproduction floor pans?
Thanks.
Either a snow plow or a power gate pump, I've seen them used both ways.
Heavy duty design, some times I find them cast aluminum sump, and some are cast iron.
Being on the front, I would lean toward it's use as a plow pump.
Smashy, You can not 'backfeed' 24 volts , as each charger only 'sees' 12 volts.
Now, if you were to connect a 12 volt charger across both batteries in series, that would be something different from what we are suggesting here.
Just treat each battery/charger pair as if the other didn't exist...
No reason to separate batteries, (I have all kinds of equipment that runs two 12 volt batteries in series,so I have years of experience doing this.) you can charge them as if the other battery wasn't there, as that battery only 'knows' it needs 12 volts, and doesn't care what comes before or...
About 30 years back, a yard I would frequent, had a halftrack with a Holmes wrecker boom on the back (good for the muddy season, I suppose), seeing the words halftrack and junkyard together jogged that memory. Thanks.
Without life, there is no death.
Perhaps Cali will look into banning life next.
Fact, smoke is not good to breathe, our ancestors 10,000 years ago knew this.
How about some new 'news'.
I stand by my earlier post. I ran two Nodwell tracked carriers(similar to a morooka), on powerline right-of-way maintenance.
Drive system was 6 cylinder chevy, th400 auto. 15w 40 motor oil in the trans.
12 years of service out of one, only half as much from the second, due to a roll over...
Can't agree with the post directly above.
15w-40 is listed as an extreme duty lube for automatics.
( Edit, Too slow,a post in between. )
(second edit) 15w-40 needs a significant warm up time before use in cold weather
Regarding post directly above, At a lube school I attended some 30 years ago, the information imparted to us claimed fully half of the dirt and grunge inside of an engine was introduced while changing or checking oil. Food for thought.
DH, search feature is next to useless, 143 pages come up when "pinion brake" is searched.
Don't be so quick to pounce on someone with your 'use the search' directive.
Search needs to be fixed.
Allison AT 545 Transmission Specification | We carry Allison AT 545, Allison MT 643, Allison HT 740, Allison HT750, Allison MD 3560 Automatic Transmission and many more
Get a trans from a school bus, problem solved.
Many pieces of heavy equipment specify 15w-40 motor oil for severe duty use in automatic transmissions, Allison and ZF are two that I use with this requirement.
Lubrication is specialized field,a lifetime can be spent studying and learning this science.
