Grainger has a lighting catalog, somewhere around 150,000 different types of lamps.
Look for aircraft landing lamps, last time I looked I found some 600 watt, 28 volt lamps.
Just rember that they have a very short life, some less than 50 hours burn time.
My employer owns a new Volvo grader, has the radial grader tires, will do 45 mph in road gear, no funny issues with bounce, wobble, ect. drives real nice (for a grader).

If you just want to do the front axel, 12r22.5 have the same height and revolutions per mile as the 11.00 20.
I had to change out the stock ndcc's when I found the front end pushing on wet roads .
Much safer now, when I turn the wheel, the truck steers.
I haven't had much success with the 6.2, or it's brother, the 6.5.
Former fleet mechanic for a utility company, at one time we had over 300 of these trucks, both sizes, and in manual gearbox and automatics also.
Many crankshaft problems.
cracked blocks common also.
Perhaps this is why GM...
Always a spoiler out there.
It boils down to this,
The pin is designed to be the weakest part, don't substitute something that will make gears and u-joints the next weakest part in line.
Thinking people will make thoughtful choices,
If you have no source for the original part, you will...
DOM means drawn over mandrel, it is a tube, in this case it has a rectangular cross section.
To address the frame stiffening question, the DOM, if just attached to the frame with a few connections through the top flange, will have little effect.
The frame needs a second member sandwiched...
3/8 inch aluminum bolts work fine, McMaster-Carr has them.
Do Not use anything other than aluminum, even the softest grade steel is much to hard, and will cause driveline breakage.
I paid 750.
both eastern and memphis want much more.
if kublo has one he will stand behind it, when i got mine, they said if it proves that the replacement is bad, they will take one from a running truck that is known good.
I did this mod a few years back, kept the fuel setting the same.
no noticable smoke any more.
quite a bit quieter as well.
used the parts from a 335 cummins, including exhaust manifold.
had to fab my own intake plumbing from 3 inch tubing, works rather well.
Just spent the last half hour...
Allison '7' series is the minimum I would use.
They arn't cheap.
Big cooler needed for tranny.
they suck a lot of horse power , 400 cummins is the smallest I would think of using in front of this tranny.
That being said, set up properly, this combo will 'scoot and git' when you mash down on the...
Ditto what Will said.
For seal conditioner, you can put a can of brake fluid in the fuel tank.
an old trick , but it works most of the time.
Also , now you know what to do with that can of D.O.T 3 that has been open for 10 years.
As an aside, these engines will burn most any thing, as long...
Heavy-duty lunette has an eye that measures about three inches across.
lighter duty types are about a half inch smaller.
I have access to a few of the larger ones, they came from a scrap yard, so I don't know the application.
They look like a big eye-bolt, that is, they mount with a nut on...
Spend the money, buy the unit engineered for the job.
Not likely you could get a cobbled together homemade brake valve through a D.O.T. inspection.
Brakes are a place where it pays to have known good parts and engineering.
In today's litigatious society, it is imperitive that you cover your a##.
Rich, I put sideboards that are level with the top of the cab shield.
sand and cobbles to the top, I weigh about 70k.
feels a bit piggy at that weight.
Agreed on price, buy it now, before someone else does.
I had a bad shake-wobble on mine, If I hit a hole or a big bump at speed, the front end would jump like a shot-at rabbit. Truck bounced so bad I whacked my head on the cab top a few times (which might explain a few things about me).
I...
