Nice rig, planning on trimming the fenders at all?
How do you like the ORD kit, and what steering box did you use?
I saw ORD stocks PSC boxes as an option with their crossover kit. Crossover is next on the list of upgrades for my CUCV, then disc brakes, then...
No matter where I go, I always have extra fluids of every kind and a basic set of tools.
Oh, and roadside assistance [thumbzup]
Doesn't matter what you bring if a fuel pump goes out. Been there.
I have 42's on regular 15 inch rims, your stock rims should work. You have to look at what the tire is rated for, they have a range of widths they will work with.
I wouldn't go with more than 33's with 10 bolts... a sudden gain of traction with anything bigger and stuff starts breaking.
Your right, in the week I owned the truck at the time of service I should have made sure all the correct maintenance was done for the last 25 years. That makes sense.
I've done a whole truck with herculiner. The only reason they say to scuff anything is to get any clear coat, wax, etc off the paint. You want bare paint for it to stick to. I scuffed a truck with brillo pads, primed it, and painted the herculiner on.
Yup, have a decent digital multimeter. I'm on 4x4network as DokWatson. I can't get anything done without my fingers freezing  Apartment life is no good for vehicle maintenance lol.
Got mine from car quest, I did specify non-ac K30 blower motor... should be rotating the correct way. Now its just a matter of wiring I think, I even messed with the switch today and still nothing. Going to take it to my buddies shop next week, I'm not sure what else I can do without a garage to...
Does the direction it spins matter? If it gets warm air into the cab, I'm happy.
Going to have to take it to a mechanic, I've officially tried everything, still wont work.
That makes more sense, thanks. I might re-wire it the original way. I don't use the winterization kit, it doesn't work either.
I got a non a/c motor, should be ok.
I was thinking about temporarily wiring it to the radio, lol.
How loud are the blower motors usually? I've never experienced one as loud as this one. Then again its probably not as bad in the cab with the engine running.
Took a picture so you can see what I am talking about.

Touch that wire to the battery and the motor works. Cool, except I don't want my heater to run 24/7. Any idea where it is supposed to go?
I just found an orange wire not connected to anything, when I touched it to a 12v power source...the motor worked. I can't figure out where this is supposed to be attached.
My blower motor never worked, decided to replace it. Replaced my blower motor, I get power to the plug that goes onto the motor itself...nothing. Doesn't turn on at all. Is it a bad ground? Where is the blower motor grounded?
