Looking at the 1st image it looks like the linkage is almost touching the transfer case which would mean the transfer case is in High but I agree that the washer on the linkage looks to be pushing the auto-engage switch forward which would cause the front axle to be engaged.

Yeah if they are hand engraved sometimes the numbers are hard to read. I actually had to take a close up picture of one of mine and then view the picture on my computer enlarged to make out the numbers on that tag of mine.

As for 25-2 are you sure that is the number? Because I know that there is a 35- MWO for the ABS retrofit on the M939 trucks but 25-2 does not even ring a bell.
