Looking for some pics of m1009 with six inch lift and 35 or larger tires. I am going to be installing a six inch lift on mine when the weather breaks, and would like to see what she will look like. Thanks.
Is there anything on trouble shooting the volt gauge in post other than in the manual. I don't have access to a computer right know to use my service manual I have on cd.
I know what the white leds look like my brother has them in his 86 chevy suburban. They are much brighter. Just thought the red ones would look cool in the cucv. Don't know just putting it out there.
Need to pull my dash apart and clean the light sockets so that my lights all will work all at the same time. Wile I am doing this I am thinking about installing red leds. In place of the stock bulbs. What are your thoughts on this?
How much are the new ones. I don't know if I will get one probably just stock the gauge in the head, not really worried about it over heating just like the thought of a temp gauge instead of a light.
Installed a new radiator in my m1009 about almost two weeks ago. Topped it off and filed up the over flow tank to the line. Checked it Saturday and the over flow tank was empty, radiator was full. So I fill the over flow tank to the line again just figured it had a bubble sense I charged both...

After checking things out I belive my 6-7 year old mecanical lift pump is going bad. I can not find any fuel leaks in the system and I just replaced the filter bank in the summer. Glow plug system seams to be working fine with our without the block heater plugged in same crank time until motor...
Anyone have a good part number for the rubber oil coolant lines that go from the engine to the hard lines at the radiator? One of mine is starting to weep oil.
