There are 6 "bomb hoists" on GL for mid November. 3 are at Rock Island Ill. They are complete, even to the medium towbar!
There are 3 of the frames as 1 lot at Anniston Al.

I want...
Pay what you think it is worth. I learned that lesson a long time ago. No matter what you pay, somebody will tell you they found a better deal. If you are happy, that's what counts.
A deuce is like any hobby vehicle, there is always something that needs doing. I have to get of my butt and replace the front axle boots, then a rear wheel cylinder. Mine went through depot overhaul in 89, so it is time for a few little things to go wrong.
I've seen that truck several times on E-Bay. Too pricey for me. I have heard there is a deuce for sale about 15 miles from here, I need to find it ans check it out.
The turbo's swap back and forth with no mods that I know of. I am going to pull the C off of my truck and replace it with an extra D turbo. I'm different, the whistle really sets my teeth on edge. My daughter is really bothered by the scream as well. My ears are already shot, I don't want to...
Drat! Didn't get my name in the pot in time!
I'll take a set of the smaller ones, and if anyone cancels on a set of big ones, I'll take them.
PM on the way.
I live about 45 miles from Atlanta, and I can go with you as well.
My opinion? Too much money. You can find nice deuces for less than $4500 bucks in the Ga. area.
Dave's truck is in good shape. Are you the one with the 5 ton that was at Kennesaw? Nice looking truck. I had mine parked down inside the middle (single radials) on Sat. only. I paid 3K$ for mine, no winch.
Nothing wrong with saving good parts and re-using them. I have built one motor out of 2 or 3. Crank and brgs from one, block pistons and rods from another , heads from another. As long as you follow good mechanical practice, you will be OK.
No, I bought this from an individual who has had it for some years. It looks great, even has the spare pins mounted on the bars.
I'll post a pic tonight.
I just can't use it, so it needs to go.
