Any idea why I am getting 6v at one of the contacts in the bottom of the lightbulb socket and 12v on the other contact? w.o the signal activated (I just have the parking lights on)????

....so should I be getting both 12 & 6V when I just have the lights on (turn signal in neutral; non flashing position)? Also since the light is really up in the truck, where is the ground for that parking light?

I am not too sure what happened, the park brake and driving brakes are still ok, and I think the noise is a unrelated right rear shock cover (one of those crappy OEM shocks) rattling around, soon to be replaced.

As far as the wipers making a mess of windows goes, try the bosch icons, they have no metal to hit on the windshield, and work allot better.

I recently noticed that when I try to engage the parking brake the pedal does not go all the way down all the time (this just started occurring), I also noticed a slight noise in the rear end, almost like there is something rubbing inside the drum. Under normal operation the brakes seem to work...
