well once again my truck is busted!!! seems the the transfer case is having a mind of its own!! the truck has all wheel drive in reverse and sometimes forward!! any ideas? if i shift back and forth between forward and reverse repeatedly it works sometimes then if i shift out of first it stops...

thats what i was thinking because there are no gear chunks. just a very fine metal soup. my gf was yelling at me saying that i didnt put oil in it. till i pulled the drain plug. then she shutup. just caint belive someone would set it up wrong. who the heck trained them!! maybe i should call...

both axles came off the same truck. the first one went about 60 miles and melted. the secound one lasted a year and then the teeth came off the gear. none of them were inspected. they came off a military truck that had an 05 rebuild.

have no idea this is the secound one. i would like to say its my drving habits. but i really don't think its all me. it might have to do with my locker on pavement.
