Made it home with my new 1009

I like the carpet. for the 30$ shipped it was better than a new dash , as I would still cover it with the carpet.

Made it home with my new 1009

I added some custom badging to the new dash trim. Also added a power outlet in the ash tray. I added a light in the back with a flush switch right behind the drivers head. see the black dot in the top. I also added seat belt stand to replace the busted plastic that held them up.

I just checked mine. The light does not work. I checked the solar panel and it works. so i guess the box is fried. I can keep the solar panel and maybe add it to the replacement. an you have 2 panels to 1 unit?

    4 new/ used CUCV's

Well with the high tech sighting systems they need objects that reflect actual sizes and shapes . If they sold the blazers for 2k each then bought targets from the union contractors who provide such projects they would cost around 20k each. So blasting the items that have been already paid for...

    4 new/ used CUCV's

I was at the bombing range today and they delivered 4 m1009's to be used as targets. They look new outside but not inside. really good shape over all. I requested to remove some parts before they are destroyed. new goodyears, for sure. I will need to get some junk tires so they can roll. So...

Made it home with my new 1009

Was thinking of adding nerf bars when i lift it. So can get in easy. I was thinking of making it look like stinger missiles on the sides. That would be silly for sure but may look good too.
