Drive shaft should be easy enough to find used. Regular 1/2 ton and 3/4 should be the same. I got a couple in my barn from past junk I recycled. Too hard to straiten shaft. Easier to build one from scratch.

500 mile Haul This was my first haul with 3500 Chevy Duramax and 20,000 LB trailer. I hauled from Chambersburg to N.H. in Feb. Deuce and 1 trl in back of deuce. No problem and even got carried away several times at speeds of 75mph!?? I am not bragging, just a matter of getting things done...

If a tow bar is used and adjusted right, the vwhicle should tow fine without a driver. Thats what a tow bar is for. If you know any rebuilders, have them modified and do up anDelco remy to replace yours. It cost me 125.00 for new-rebuilt. You can modify Alt. brackets to accept the Delco. I also had one done up for my 24 volt Excavator, and was simple to chance. Good luck, Phil

RE: M1009 I would clean up the engine and see where the leak is. It could be as simple as a Rotting oil line to the Oil cooler or a Transmission line. I just sold a m1009 that had a slight oil leak at rear main, but not a Dripping leak, just a little wetness is not bad! If the trans works...

WOW Sounds complicated. All U gotta do is hook up tester to Bat terminal on Alt. Pos to batt., Neg to Isolated grd. Start vehicle and see what U have for voltage. I believe u can test at Bat for voltage. Just test front batt. for 12=14 volts with engine running and test rear batt. for 24-26...
