“Battle-Proven solutions & Uncompromised protection when you need it”...
Saw this Deuce again and decided to post some pics. I see it occasionaly, it gets driven and parked next to GA Hwy 20 on weekends with big signs and American flags on it, but today it was parked by the building. It might be 1/4 of a mile from this business to where they park it.
Not trying to...
Based on my research here & conversations with other members, I selected 2 cycle as the best option. I put 1/2 QT per 15 galllons of diesel.
I felt regular motor oil has too many additives.
Yes - most of them like mine I saw on ebay had the insert. Others had a key and mounting bracket too.
Most of the older Blazer style consoles didn't have the cloth insert.
Guess you'll just have to keep searching to see what comes up.
Cleaned it out some - still more to do!
Oiled the window mechanisms - windows were hard to roll up.
Changed some fluids.
Bought some used parts - bridge plate, new sunvisors & sill plates.
Got another spare tire - one it came with was worthless.
Installed the repaired rear driveshaft & new slip...
That's the way it came from GL. Guess somebody at Ft Gordon decided it needed new ones and just grabbed some red vinyl and put them in. Nothing matches on the inside - tan doors & tailgate, burgandy door panels, tan dash, mismatched seat covers, and lots of green paint too! Maybe this gives it...
Yeah, that's nice! It also came with a key and is very good shape for it's age.
You need something to put stuff in and the glove box is a mile away.....rofl
