My completed M37... Finally... (well never *really* completed)

Very nice! What Comm Shelter is on the back? Is it a stock M-37 or is it "improved"? Also, what is the story with the hardtop? I've never seen one like that. Great truck, though! Storm 51

    Post your m37 pictures

Looks like an Ex-Marine Corps truck from the paper clips on the front bumper. Also looks like a lot of the details (tail lights, shackles, etc) are still on the truck. Good Luck and have fun restoring it as much or as little as you want. Storm 51

Duvall, WA Mil veh show as featured part of Classic Car Show June 1 Saturday

I'm looking forward to it Jim! Need more details though. That website was short on the "paperwork and process" part and long on the "Oh, what a wonderful time we'll have..." So, more details, please. Thanks, Storm 51

    PSP landing mat-looking

I'd be interested if anyone can find some as close to Seattle as possible. I want at least 4, maybe as many as 8 pieces. Let me know if someone wants to split an order / share shipping. Storm 51

My first M37, a junkyard find.

It's getting there. Just take your time and keep the priorities straight, you will much happier in the long run. The truck will still be there waiting for you. I've never had to worry about gremlins coming in at night to work on my truck. Hope things & wedding go well for you. Storm 51

Map Light or Trouble Light Connector Question

Thanks for all the help, guys. I now understand why I can't find the single pin connector to plug this into my dash receptacle. It is obviously a later cord and connector on an old trouble light assembly. At least now I know what I am looking for in terms of a plug. It's too bad Saturn is out of...

Map Light or Trouble Light Connector Question

It is kind of cool in that it has its own self-contained fuse assembly. I just wish I could find the single pin connector to plug it into my receptacle on the dash. Storm 51

Map Light or Trouble Light Connector Question

Yes, it does look like that (plugging into a light socket) but what it is supposed to plug into is a single pin connector. Unfortunately, what you are showing in post # 3 is a Douglas connector. This termination would never fit. This is what is causing me such a delema.

Map Light or Trouble Light Connector Question

I was wondering if anyone here would happen to recognize this connector? It is on the end of my map light / trouble light cable which is SUPPOSE to plug into a single center pin female outlet on my dash. I suspect that I am missing the single pin connection that this connector mates with. The...

    Draft Pads

Well, I got mine on, but they are torn a bit (not completely, but about half way). They will work for now, and when I'm feeling ambitious, or need something to add to an order from MWM, I'll get another set and try again. I think that if I would have heated them a bit first to make them a little...

    Draft Pads

Thanks, Bruce! Did you heat it up at all? I imagine I can find half of an old wooden clothes pin to use as a wedge. Off to find a suitable wedge........... Storm 51

    Draft Pads

O.K., I'm sorry to resurrect this thread again, but, even using the KY Jelly, I could not get those draft pads on. Do I need to heat them first, or is there something else I need to do to get them to stretch over the pedals (my wife and son get a good laugh out of me going out to the garage to...

    Question About M37 Beds

They're not cheap, some parts have been remade, they are available, but not common. SHIPPING IS THE DEAL KILLER! Storm 51

    Winch Safety and Recovery Dangers

I'll look through my 4" binders this weekend and find some of the articles. An amazing collection, isn't it? I'm at about issue #182. I've been copying relevant articles, etc as I go and I have about 3 or 4 of the 4" binders full. It makes a nice reference set. Storm 51

    Post your m37 pictures

Nice stuff, rosims! Thanks for all the pics and the leads on the seat pads and junction box! Yes, I do remember those days. Never bought much of the stuff because there was so much of it and I figured it would always be there. Huge mistake. I now pay dearly for what I used to just walk by...

Wow! Nice job, rosims! Very nice set up. A few questions for you if you don't mind. Where did you get the 1/2 seat pads for the benches? Also, is there any attachments for the table to fit on the tailgate when the tailgate is in the horizontal position (the adjustable table legs would be...

    Draft Pads

I'm glad you got a laugh, Bert! I sissied out and changed it before I got in trouble. :-D It was too tempting of a straight line to pass up. That's why I'm always in trouble..... :( Storm 51

    My Restoration Progress

I cad plated all my bolts in one big lot when I did my truck last time to hopefully help make them last longer (a lot of the bolts had the DPCD logo). I planned on painting them too, but once I saw the truck with all the bolts, I decided to make a virtue out of laziness and leave them...
