Does any one know where to find an adapter plug that allows you to use old style 2 pin jumper cables and ports with the more modern single pin NATO systems?
Any idea what they do / should cost?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

I had a data plate that was a "photo etch" from 1967 on my M101A1 trailer. The plate was bleached to shiny aluminum. I had to have new ones made by a plate house.
Dave Kelone was a waste of time for me. I was after him for over 6 months just trying to get a response about whether he could make...
Nice Mustang, Mike! I like it!
Glad to have you join us!
Good luck with your camping project. Post lots of pics! It's a very visually oriented group here.

I've got a "Marvin the Martian" cartoon on each side of my truck. There were lots of drawings, "art work" on everything it seems like in Viet Nam......
Here's a couple of pics of "Marvin" on my M-42.

I acquired a little military Homelite 28VDC generator (17 amps) that needs some light restoration (new gaskets and some packing). It is about the same year as my M-37 (1953) and it would be a nice, light weight accessory for radios, battery charging, etc.
I have checked with the usual suspects...
You got a great deal on that truck! Most of the main suppliers for parts are close to you also (midwest military, VPW, etc).
You've got a great truck to restore there. Congratulations!

I believe the distributor wire is part of the front wiring harness. John at Midwest would know or Charles at M Series Rebuild.
Currently over at the G741 website there are a lot of threads discussing wiring issues, so you should benefit from a lot of current/recent experience.
Good Luck with...
It's the "then, then, then," part that gets you into the body off, frame up restoration. Got to be very careful whenever you get to the "then, then, then," on any list.
Ask me how I know.....

There is more than one wiring harness and there are also individual cables (Generator to Voltage Regulator for example).
You will need to be a little more precise is describing your specific problem with your M-37. Are you just having problems with your engine? Are your lights not working? Is...
Yes, it will but if they are small enough (no more than 16 inches overall length) they will work for the M-37. I need at least one more single and a double, but if they are cheap enough, two of each would be nice! Depending on what those winterfronts are for, they are nice to have (especially on...
Were any of those snatch blocks (especially the double sheave ones) of a fairly small size (like for 5/8 or smaller cable)? I'd be interested in some of the snatch blocks depending on price.
Also, in your first set of pictures (post #5 picture 8 of 10), the photo of the compressors had some...
Vintage Power Wagons has all the seals priced individually and as sets / kits. Their catalog is online or they will send you one for free in the mail. They have pictures of all the seals both online and in the print catalog.

Congratulations! It looks like you got a good solid truck there!
I did notice that the distributor vent tubes have been disconnected from the carburetor u-pipe. You might want to reconnect those (make sure they are not plugged first) before you run the engine/drive the truck. If you don't, you...
