David,
Your threads are some of the best that I have ever read, so they definitely are a big source of material for me.
I do have some detailed questions, so I will try and call you this evening.
Thanks,
Andy
I saw those.
If a PLS wheel will fit (or can be made to fit) then I can use either 14.00 x 20 or 16.00 x 20 tires, which are readily available, unlike the 14,00x 24's that are on it now.
Andy
With the M123 that I just bought, I need some pics to help with repairs.
If anybody has some of the following, and can either post them or email them, it'd be appreciated.
Areas that I need pics of (the more detailed, the better):
front bumper and step
spare tire davit and frame/winch...
Nope, I am now on the lookout for 5-6 wheels and tires.
No, not yet...8)
The usual.."What're ya gonna do wit' that thang?"
My answer: Whatever the #$%^ I feel like.
Andy
If you buy one from the GSA (or from a seller who has purchased one from the GSA), there are no export restrictions to Canada. You'll still have to pay import duties, and taxes, etc., but at least you can get it across the border without a free stay in Uncle Sam's Gray Bar Hotel.
I would...
It's here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
The pics suck, but the truck started and drove off the trailer!
Unloaded it in a local school's parking lot and then drove it 2 miles home.
More pics to come tomorrow!
Andy
It's on it's way, should be here on Sunday or Monday.
For those interested, shipping from Sandy Eggo to StL on a step-deck trailer cost $3K ($1.75/mile).
Andy
I've got a line on some, direct from the manufacturer (none on GL for a while).
Looks like they'll be approx $18/ea, but I'll have to order 1000 of them to get that price.
Andy
It runs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-D:-D:-D:-D:-D
I talked to the guys at the lot in Sandy Eggo, and it fires right up!!!!!:-D:-D:-D
Looks like it'll be headed to StL next week:-D (on a trailer, I'm not driving that home...).
