    Good Price?

I wish I had my Deuce with me and I would snag one. Still need to ship my M35, M101, and a bunch of parts over. Too bad diesel isn't getting any cheaper! I need to win the lotto! LOL!

    Good Price?

Ya, I paid $450 for my '62 and it was in almost mint shape with a brand new tarp. I'm not a fan of the sand color anyway. I guess this one will be a pass. Thanks guys!

Running through Craigslist and saw a M101A2 for $900. Isn't that a little high? Let me know you guys thoughts. Thanks! Travo

This drivers side window is driving me crazy..Embarrassed to ask for help here..

I just replaced my window track felt yesterday. What I had to do was push the window into the channel on the vent window and then adjust the "outside track" so the window is in the track as well. While you are in there and the door panel is off, lube all your tracks (the metal ones) and the...

    throttle position sensor

I did a continuity check on the switch under the petal and got it to work. Wasn't solid tone at first but got it to start giving me a solid tone. I then checked and cleaned the kickdown plug on the side of the transmission. It will downshift now but not as good as my old CUCV at work did. It...

    throttle position sensor

Would a bad TPS keep the transmission from downshifting as well? I can't get mine to downshift no matter what.

Electrical problems are starting to annoy me, help?

Just FYI for everyone that's in the same boat, I found out my issue. The grounding tab was missing because it had broken off. I stuck a small wire from where the tab used to be and stuffed it next to the bulb. It will work for right now and am going to find me a front marker/turn socket this...

Electrical problems are starting to annoy me, help?

Barrman! You are the man! Been messing with this same thing ALL DAY and after reading what you said about the ground tabs breaking off, I found my problem (I hope). Is that an OEM only part? I was searching on Autozone and didn't see anything. Thanks!

    Starter stays spinning...

To be honest with you, I haven't looked into this any further. My Dad was sick and just passed so all the projects I had for myself and friends are still on hold. Once I figure it out and troubleshoot it, I will post up my findings. Sorry about the delay, Travo

    Starter stays spinning...

Ok, so I went to go look at a friends Deuce the other day to trouble shoot some issues on it. The starter will engage and crank the truck BUUUUUUUUT- it wants to stay spinning. When you cut the master power, it quits spinning. Flip the MP back on (without killing the truck) and it goes back to...

Glow Plug - By Pass Help

I did the conversion and threw the new AC60's in. Did new connectors with dielectric grease. She fires RIGHT up now. The only thing I noticed is that I don't hear the "clunking" when the plugs cycle. I hear the initial "clunk" when I turn the keys and when I start it the voltage stays down until...

Looking for second opinion on low power

Ya, I thought the short style was for vans as well. I will probably grab a couple off the 1031 and check the number. I don't want to turn those in because they only have 13K on them. This set that's on my 1009 have over 72K. I figured those would be the better candidate for a core.

Looking for second opinion on low power

I have been emailing Fred down there and he tells me that I should need the short body injectors with 054 stamped on them. My eyes aren't as great as they used to be, so I can't see what's on mine. Does this sound right? I just wanted to order the right ones the first time. Thanks! Oh ya, he...

    power rear window?

That brings up a good question Oilcan- If your regulator goes out when the window is up, how do you drop the windows to lower the gate to service it? Does it have some back up crank inside?
