No, of course not! I know that GM is just breaking even when it comes to selling weather stripping, LMAO!!!! It's because the price of oil has gone up so much. Their just like the fuel companies, they sell it to us, for cost, and never see one cent for profit.
LOL! Sorry, I couldn't help it...
Do you have a picture of the mod? Trying to get this straight in my brain. Also- do I need to disconnect anything as well? I will be doing this to both of my CUCV's.
What wire needs to be move to where to achieve the 12v conversion for the GP's? I am trying to search and find where it is explained how to do it. I just don't want to screw anything up.
He would have to order it. They didn't have any in stock. no charge for shipping or anything (thank goodness at THOSE prices).
I am just trying to see what would be worth going GM and what's better LMC. I doubt I will be spending $70 per window channel! LOL! Big chunks are missing out of my...
1. I am sure I have the right tools, but what would be needed to rebuild it?
2. How long can I expect for it to take?
3. While doing it, what else would be good to tackle? Change the P/S lines and flush system?
Just wanted to post this FYI. I called the PN's in to the local GM dealer and he was able to tell me the prices.
Rear gate lower weather stripping PN 326934 $88.95
Rear gate outer glass weather stripping PN 327005 $47.81
Rear gate inner glass weather stripping PN 327006 $40.86

Whoops! Man Warthog, I have been off my game the last few days. I guess I have been spending too much time reading and starting to not pay attention! Sorry for the goof-up but thanks for answering my question.
:lost: LOL!
Welcome to the site Anubis!!! Yes, I agree, no stereo gets old especially if it is a daily driver! I can't remember for certain what size the speakers are. I have read that it's a little bit of a PITA to install them with the glass in (if I remember correctly). I am sure someone will post up...
I know this is a little old, but I am having problems downshifting from 3rd into 2nd. I can be super easy on the throttle and let it shift into 3rd and then floor it and it won't downshift. Could this be the modulator? I did a tranny filter/fluid change about 1,000 miles ago and refilled with...
I was looking at that earlier. It is cheaper than the Sony setup (about $70 cheaper!). I just wonder how long it will last. and what kind of warranty it comes with. Looks pretty neat and would probably fit the bill. I have been searching to see if there is anything else like it.
I hear you. The thing I am after is that I don't want to cut up my truck nor do I want something that says, "steal me". Lets face it- the CUCV's can be broken into so easily. I figured if everything was hidden and I had just a remote I can pull out, I would feel much better about it all.
I've been looking at different HU's for my Blazer. What I want is a unit that has- Sirius sat radio, iPod CONTROL, and wired LCD readout remote that can control all functions. The reason is I am going to mount everything where it is hidden.
I asked the guys at crutchfield (ya, I do know they...
