Right on. It's not broken yet, but my turn signal cam is getting pretty worn out and my key tumbler is full of this goop that was all over my steering wheel. I heard that the steering wheels will "bleed" this goop over the years in extreme heat. In the winter time I have to be careful because...
I don't want to sound like an idiot (which I do at times) but with the new style pump, I can plug and play (after I make the electrical ext) and then order the wiper control arm that has delay and it works like a charm? Just want to make sure because I am interested in having the delay function...
Anyone have a good step by step (with pictures) of the column tear down? I am wanting to rebuild one of mine.

I think it's a single space for just one or the other, I am not sure though. I have never seen it installed in person. '74 will have to post up and let you know though. Might be a good place for a CB, like you said. I wonder if my Cobra 29 would fit there..... Hmmmmmmm......... :twisted:
Thanks for the info! I am just kicking around ideas for now. Part of me wants it to stay "original" but have the goodies hidden and the other part of me wants to do it this way so the roof can be insulated and the stereo and speakers are mounted out of the way. I am just not sure which way to go...
Well, let me ask you Doghead-
1. Would I be able to put it on a toggle switch for 12v or 24v for the GPs??
2. If the 12v is the good running one and I am slaving another dead, would it make a difference?
I think it's better than the can. It's probably 6 of one and half-a-dozen of the other though. I agree with you about the can being able to reach tighter places. I personally just don't care for the over spray that I usually cause :mrgreen:

I am in the process of doing the same with mine. I am going to be posting up as I replace the rubber pieces so people can know what company produces a close OEM spec piece. Some are better than others and in some cases OEM is the only way to go.
