    Thanks. I've got a new set of injectors for it that i haven't yet had time to swap. Could the"burnt valve" sound i here at idle be caused by an injector gone bad ? It has a dead-miss feel to it when it's first cranked up in the morning and still cold.

    I've got to replace the rear driveshaft u-joints in my 1008 and was looking for an upgrade for the u-joint. Also will be swapping from a strap to a u-bolt design yokes. If anyone has a part number or can steer me in the right direction for a stronger u-joint..... Thanks.

    It did make the truck start and run better after I cleaned it. When it's clogged up does it cause pressure in the rubber return lines ?

    Yesterday I took off and cleaned the fuel return check valve on one of my 1008's and it didn't have the glass bead at all. The check valve was a white plastic deal with an internal spring with rubber seals on both sides of the valve. My other 1008 has the valve with the glass bead. What gives ...

    A friend of mine owns the CarQuest here and we found this for my 1008. It was an exact match for the one that was in it and was brand new. Hope this helps.
