Ditto...you've got a loose connection in the main ground. All the current was carried by the smaller ground wire causing the damage. The chatter from the GPR was probably caused by the voltage drop due to the bad connection. I can't think of anything else that would case this other than a loose...

Ive seen that happen with other equipment usually caused by a bad connection where the Cable enters the connector. First thing I did when I bought mine was replace all cables between the Batteries, Terminals and the Starter. I used 4/0 Welding Cable and Crimp type connectors..I little...

Florida9 Newb...You need to make a big decision here, do you want to keep the 12V conversion or go back to the As Built. At this point, I'd suggest sticking with the conversion, straighten out what you have and try to understand it. If your not familiar with Electrical System and how/why they do...
I vote for the AC60G's...Do a little grinding, then buff, tweak the metal in the connectors to help the connection bite a little better (I used a Seal Pick) and go from there. How's the communist state of Maryland doing?
Get out the schematic and start tracing the circuits. Chances are you'll find a loose or corroded connection. I've had trouble with the interal connections of the fuse block. Good Luck:beer:
Ok, here's what I found so far. The drain plug on the Filter assembly was loose and the drain hose was clogged with a Muddobber, Mud Wasp, whatever U want to call it. Went ahead and changed with filter, figured it couldn't hurt. While changing the filter I found the connector loose on the Temp...
