Thanks Eric...you're right and no I haven't. It's a PINB when the TM is on your Wifes computer and she's "farmtownin"....nuf said...arg. I need to find a REAL hand held copy of the manual.
Ditto...If it turns over and you don't hear more noise than usual, you should be better off than if thru a Rod. No hole it the block...etc...If the chain went, then your lookin a bent valves and a few other things. I hope it works out for ya.
I'm trying to be calm, but this is becoming quite annoying. My M1009 with not start properly when cold, even at 85 OAT. When attempting to start I get the Wait Light, for what seem like an eternity, and also hear the GP relay energize. The GP's test ok and the VD is at around 8vdc at the load...
Well.....lets see:roll:...that would depend on the system. In my case, I have 24v feeding the GPs thru the resister bank, with 8 good plugs I'm getting 8v at the load side of the GP Relay. Hope that helps. Like the Generals say "read the TMs"..
I've got a 24 Volt trickle charger hooked up to the terminal next to the rear seat. I'm having trouble starting when cold so I hooked that up just to keep batteries up overnight.
Others (oldtimers) have suggested using the 60's which I installed in my 1009. You asked about the voltage, if you don't have a source to ground, you won't have a voltage drop. That's why I said they could be open. Measure what you have just to be sure. Remember you have 8 GP's attached to the...
Replaced mine with the same 60G's with the existing resistor bank. Now have 8VDC at the load side of the GP relay when energized. Started fine for the first couple weeks. Now I 'm starting to have issues and I'm not sure what the problem is. From what I've read, the 60's should be ok as long as...
Thanks for the wow...It's a WOW for me compared to what was on there, a mix of FS and GD at 10 years old. The new tires match the size that was on there and from what i've found came on the truck...31-10.5/15
Welcome from another newb....The WAIT light is in the top center on the instrument cluster in a small rectangular box....it's the one on the left when looking at it, wired separatly from all other instrument lights except the one next to it.
