Ok finally got a chance to check the gp relay. Red had 28-29v 2 side wires that I think were blue had 13-14v. Oranges was 0.02-0.05.

Ok when the wife gets home from work. I will start the truck and let it go for about 5 minutes and get readings on both top and bottom.

So you are saying the orange wire at the top u are indicating. So i should check the other orange wire on the bottom?

Which wire should I check? I do have the tools to check it.

Ok. When I first turn the truck the volt on the guage inside is low. I let it run for a few minutes and it goes into the green. Than if I turn on the headlamps, the blinkers, and say the wipers the volts go way way down and the gar starts to surge and make noise. The gar is new. So I have no...

Mainly it starts to surge alot like a belt is loose. And I can tell you right Noe it isn't loose at all. Epically with new bents and alternators that have been profecionally tested.

Mistaken yes helps a lot. But do you know where I can find the Slave receptacle? I'm thinking I need to replace to 2 Relays that I'm guessing are under the dash. Just kinda confused about locations of those 3 things..:beer:

Ok bi just hooked a new used red wire to the junction block. Just noticed there is a blue wire with fusible link coming from the engine harness. It is on the same post. The one im replacing was red with fusible link going to a white wire. All those go to the 24v battery. What gives?? Im afraid...

Ok the fuse goes to the firewall on drivers side. Than goes to the 2nd battery (24v). The barrel you are refering to melted when it cought on fire. I cut a section that wasn't burnt. Took the wire to napa. And seems its 10 guage.

Can anyone tell me what size fuseable link was used. Searched tm and web not having any luck.

Quick question. Can I replace fusable links with a fuse holder a,md say a 20 amp fuse. It seems it would much less work to locate a problem. Good bad. ? Just trying to work smarter.
