Glow plug card and glow plug relay was done today. Just need to find out why the volt gage isn't in the green now. Volts on my mac guagr at the alts are at propped volts but gage isn't going in the green. Grrrrr

I did get a paper showing where all wires went. And the 2 small wires were on the wrong posts.

Both alternators are up to par.

I replaced the gp card and the relay from cucvelectric.com. the relay is the chrome barol that they recommend for the cucv. Im thinking it may be another relay somewhere on the truck.

Well the parts are on my truck. Did it all today after lunch. All works. Just still don't have the gage in the green. Its just below it. Just something else to trace. Enclosed is a picture of the old relay under the hood. Got it from napa. I looked at the one on the passenger side for my plow...

Ok keep searching for someone that is supposed to be selling new gp relay cards. Cant find anything on here or ebay. Anyone have any idea where i should be looking?

I have replaced it but it looks like a relay u find on my plow setup. Should have gone somewhere else for it.

Last thing done was replace all glow plugs with new ones from gm

Ok was driving down the road and volt gage dropped. And the bad electrical smell got worse. Started to check the fuse box. Than found a small black box that seems to be the bad smell. Isn't this for the glow plugs? And does this have anything to do with the charging system? Or is it something...

Looks like the list of things to do is getting bigger. Need to change the transfer case as soon as i find a good one, glow plugs with the ac60g's, fender , door, etc. O and i reallly need to put in a radio.

Ok i have a 85 M1009 the rear hatch cant be lowered unless I use a wrench. The handle is gone and cant find one in the local bone yard. Ive found power gates, but noone has a manual crank's. So if anyone can lead me in the correct direction please?
