i did once before an d the pressure jumped from 25 to 40 .but before i had a good ground it didnt even register.so i think it is the guage .i will pull it and remount it again thanks for the info.makes me feel much better.

Well thank you for the input on my engine noise. Had a friend come by and look at it and found to be that the dipstick was rattling inside the dipstick tube. Now there are two dip sticks .me ,and the one on the Jeep. The noise went away every time we took the dipstick out of the tube. Thank you...

I have and reading up on oil pressure's for the m38a1. My pressure runs 30 to 40 pounds when first started up 20 when revved 10 - 15 at idle. The Gage runs different pressures at different times sometimes it is up to 40 and 50 pounds other times it is 20 to 30pounds at startup I'm guessing it...
