    Fuel filter?

Got a video from my friend in Colorado Springs where my truck is parked. I just drove it 1500 miles with 0 issues from GA to Colorado. It has sat for 3 days and he needed to move it onto the street. It's billowing thick white smoke when the engine is under load. Being that I'm 1500 miles away...

PB-I'd rather be a so-called "DAT" than a crunchy! I'm going to miss GA for sure...but Colorado is awesome. Hopefully I will be back to Benning late summer of 2014. Dmetal- I've sat on screen lines on the Syrian border for hundreds of hours and have done so many 24/36hr+ reconnaissance...

    Driving from GA to CO

I made into town with no problems. Surprisingly the suburban bucket seats proved to be very comfortable for the 23+ hours I sat in them! I'm still looking for a bench seat though.... Lessons learned/AAR- 1. Bring sun block. My left arm and neck are cooked 2. Avoid I40 through Arkansas at all...

    Driving from GA to CO

Just crossed the KS/CO line. Gonna top off and go last 150-200 miles or so. Almost there. In the words of Harry and Lloyd- Harry: I expected the Rocky Mountains to be a little rockier than this. Lloyd: I was thinking the same thing. That John Denver's full of ****, man. Burlington, CO...

Well I made into Salina with no major issues around 1945 local time. My lock cylinder fell out of my driver side door, but that's it. A big thanks to Glen (91W350) for dinner. Nice to have folks that are willing to meet ya for the heck of it! I'll be out of here early in the morning to finish...

    Driving from GA to CO

EMD- I think riding a bull at the rodeo would have been smoother. That was the worst stretch of interstate I have ever been on. I'm stopped for my 3rd fuel stop. Got a slight transmission fluid leak from the pan. Didn't get much of a turn on any of the bolts. Still plenty of fluid in the pan...

    Driving from GA to CO

I'm at my first stop for diesel. No issues so far. Checked the truck over after I topped off. On the last tank I averaged 16.1 mpg. Not great, but I didn't buy a CUCV for the gas mileage. I stayed between 70-75mph which kept my rpm's between 2400-2560. The pyrometer stayed between 500-600...

A deuce key. That's clever WM. unmolested CUCVs are just fine if you have a good voltmeter and can read TMs/schematics.

Has anyone bought a CUCV from this guy?

Re-read the site rules. You can't post links to current sales/auctions. I'd suggest you remove it before the moderators do.

    who needs tm and fms?

Abrams TMs are essentially FOUO. Unless they are depot level manuals, it's not all THAT big of a deal. It does say though, to prevent reconstruction of the manuals. If it were me, I'd just shred/burn them and be done with it. If I need any manuals for my tanks, I'll go to work and get them out...
