That brings up a good question for Texas, do axillary lights need to be covered here in Texas?
Because I kind of have allot of them on my Suburban CUCV clone.
I would think that since the 6TMF is also an industrial battery and cost 3X as much as a Group 31 new, Interstate would not charge a core or partial core when exchanging them. I would discuss this with them as to make an even exchange since the 6TMF cost is allot more new over the Group 31. I...
I just realized on the second page I was reading a 3 year old post. If you have a question like this, I would suggest sending a PM in my opinion over bumping a 3 year old post.
Everyone can see the last time someone has logged in, shows this in ones profile.
I have bought near a dozen group 31 batteries from Interstate and never had an issue with them. They may look old and dirty, but keep in mind they are reconditioned/refurbished batteries that will have blemishes. The most recent one I got last week was missing the handle strap, but not a big...
You should have stopped by, I was home all day up until a about 8:30 when I went as well to Braum's. I do not recall seeing your truck there if it was, but I parked at the Senior Center, so if your truck was there I missed it.
Rear your post again, saw you got it home. Missed that the first time as I was distracted by a phone call and did not catch you got it home.
I will not be home Sunday until late evening, but if you need help later in the week after 6pm I can help you figure out what maybe wrong with it...
Hello sir, I can run over there with the M0131 and jump it for you. Or if you got it home I can help you try to figure out what is wrong with it.
I sent you a PM with my number.
Finally installed the roof rack today and now the military version of the Dante's Peak Suburban is complete. Not everything is the same parts wise, but it looks like a green version of that truck. :jumpin:
The roof rack maker Wilderness and others sells the mounting brackets for some...
I do not remember what that is, but it is not the Glow Plug controller card as that is a much larger one near the e-brake. I am sure someone will beat me to it while I look it up, but I replied so I would also know when that happens.
(I know you are not in Texas, so this is to visualize Wise Coounty)
In Wise Co filled with diesel trucks for oil rig service repair, it would have to be his first day there to have never seen a diesel truck. Every time I am out in that county I see diesel pickups and oil rig repair trucks. So...
I sure hope you only paid $14.50 for that inspection as it is a diesel and safety inspection only just like a motorcycle. A safety inspection regardless of vehicle is $14.50, so our CUCV trucks in Texas are $14.50. Since a diesel is exempt from emission testing, that means it does NOT need a...
You can prime the system by using compressed air at about 4psi on the return line at the top of the IP. Remove the rubber line from the IP leaving it attached to the metal return lines going to the injectors. Open the bleeder on the filter base and put a hose into a old water or pop bottle to...
If you did not also add a headlight relay harness you are going to overload your headlight circuit with those H4 bulbs in those headlights. You should check to make sure your 20 amp fuse is not getting hot and melting the fuse holder.
Being that my rig has been designated as the recovery vehicle in the off road & Jeep club I am in, I added a rear winch. Used another Badlands winch, but went with a 9000lb for this. Though about a 12K winch, but figured I would only be pulling Jeeps and 9000lb will be fine. Plus anything bigger...
