I agree Westechit has its up and downs in this town, but I enjoy KS so far and I had my reasons for moving here, and hope to actually move later to a outlying area. As far as the looks of PVC, I cant even see what it looks like, there was talk of buying a kit that was made properly thats why i...
So let me get this straight, because he used PVC he is disrespecting his MV? By making a mod that if which i cant get the pics to load either, is functional and allows him to use his vehicle in the fashion that he wants then I guess he is wrong. IF his setup allows him to traverse deep water...
SO battlebuggy, can you please explain to me what makes a gm gov lock work. YOu seem to be implying that the gov lock doesnt have clutches that wear out either. Every one I have rebuilt had clutches as well. And I have removed many un bubba installed detroits from the M1008 and M1028 trucks. Now...
WEll the compressor map depending on your injectors is very important, like i said the rotary VE pump pumps hard low and runs outta steam up in the higher RPM's, also of guys wanting a larger turbo use a cam thats helps with spooling, thats why a good twins setup is nice. But depending on your...
well I understand your concern But I put over 150k miles on a 14mm head, and I pulled GN trailers constantly, truck pulled, drag raced, and it was a DD for work and at the time I drove 110 miles round trip. All thats needed for a 14mm pump to live is a good supply of fuel, good filtering and a...
I dont think you can go wrong with that truck even if its ridden very hard. For the price alone you could part it out and make double your money back. Great score.
Guys you just dont realize the things that have turned around in my life simply from his act of kindness. Plus this truck runs like a dream, I mean its cherry other than a few dents and a dash pad. I will never forget the help Glenn has given me, and I really appreciate the kind words you guys...
Ahh forgot you have a VE then you need to get a 14mm head for that thing, and a good turbo, and a set of injectors, you can build a reliable 450-500 easy with a VE truck, But a 14mm head for your pump would require a A1000 fuel pump cause the clearances are so tight if it doesn't get a fresh...
SO then wheres all the 320 hp 6.2 motors lol. Im by far no expert but the only ratings for any injection pump would be fuel flow, its up to the motor to turn this fuel into power!!! I have seen the ratings you speak of but this would be for the DB4 pumps used on offroad machines, ie this...
been there done that, the best is having a bad day forget to put the oil plug back in the dozer and pumping 12 gallons of oil onto the shop floor. Boy did i learna lesson that day
Oh so when you pulled the drain plug it made the mess gotcha now. Yeah fluid and gravity can be a bummer, I usually hold he pan close when I pull the plug.
So after you drained the transfer case it still shot a ton of fluid out??, man you were so close to having it done just needed to pull and replace the seal you already did the hard part. Sorry again that I didnt stress that fluid would leak from the tailshaft.
You can tap my mind anytime, the service to this country I enjoyed doing and was truely a honor. I truely will pay it forward for lack of better terms. All I can say is thank you as im at a loss for words.
Yes and he does wonderful write ups but this is way above and beyond anything I have ever seen. And the M1009 I am buying from him is truely a diamond in the rough. He priced it very fair, even put fuel in it for me. I was extremely touched by this mans help. I can't even put it into words.
