That is a drawback, there is a caution not to use at less that 50 feet AGL because of the "burst into flames" thing.

I had a out of round crank shaft in my Duce. The oil pressure would drop off at idle when warm. The "Oh-S#!#" moment was when I drained the oil and chunks of bearing material came out, not shavings, chunks.
