Right,after finding some time. I checked my batts with my tell-tale charging system thingy. Front batt is charging ok.Rear batt overcharge.So i got out the volt meter.Front batt 14.36 (no lights) 14.18 (with lights on) Rear batt 14.65.Could the over charge be the source of all my probs?

I got one of those geared lug wrenches today.Made in 2004 still in the horrible grease/wax paper.Now all i have to do is find out how the thing works.I tried scanning the TM's and using the search fuction.Still none the wiser.
Right,today I disconnected the vac line at the modulator.It didn't seem to be much sucking going on.So I disconnected the line that goes to the vac thingy on the IP from the vac pump.That was sucking more.I connected it back up and tested the sucking on the vac thingy on the IP.That was sucking...
My transmission changes up to 2nd no prob but won't change to 3rd until i take the revs off to tickover.As soon as i apply a fraction of foot pressure to the pedal it changes to 2nd.No other probs in any other gears.Anyone got any ideas?????
That sounds a good idea Warthog.All I know about mine is it's ex USAF.With the frame number 1040-10232 even the data plate on the motor has been removed.
I know it's a old thread,but i bought a a2c a few months back.Which was missing the data plate.The vin is 1040-10***.I now have a data plate from your side of the pond with the correct contract number and my vin embossed on it.It's just a pity i don't know the reg number.I can't see no stencils...
The other week i bought 2 x front park/turn light units(the old ones were cracked at the back and letting in water rusting up the bulb holders)They have the 2 filament bulbs in.This week i bought 2 x units for the rear (lenses were faded/over sprayed on the old ones) They have 3 x 24v 10w and 1...
After hunting the net over here there seems to be no european match for these bulbs.I take it they are a US military thing.I do have a couple of spares.I'll have to get a box of 10(of each sort) from your side of the pond.All trucks over here(even mil trucks) are 24v 5w for side/parking lights...
