    Lamp/Bulb wattages

    Is there any reason why the rear lights have twin filament BA15S bulbs.One of mine has blown so i put in a single filament BA15S.The old bulb was a Taiwan one with no wattage marked.I take it they are 5 watts? Oh and is there any where in the TM's that tell you the bulb wattages? I couldn't find...

    What did you do to your deuce this week?

    Replaced both front indicator units.Was going to just replace the lenses but after taking the lenses off most of the bulbs were rusted into the sockets.Now i'm after rear lenses.

    I have no probs with rodents.......it's the darn spiders.Cobwebs everywhere inside and out.The M1009 is the worst.They like it behind the headlights.

    Does the USAF a2c not have a slave socket fitted? Mine has the placement to fit one but one has never been fitted.No holes just the pressing.

    Bought 2 x 9.00 x 20 tyres for the front of the deuce.Now get this..............local tyre place here who deals in titan tyres wanted £266 each and 8 weeks delivery from your side of the pond.That's $431 each.So i bought 2nd hand ones from Germany €155 = £131 = $212 each.When i say 2nd hand ones...

    Fitted a new air horn and spliced cable 491 + 21 on the back of the light switch.Now i have side marker lights with my headlights.

    I take it the jumper wire goes between the 2 numbered wires going into the plug that plugs into the back of the light switch??

    Passenger seat

    Does anyone know how the passenger seat back(the cushion bit) is held in place in the seat back frame? From the parts pic it is a seperate item but i can't see how it's held in.

    Fuel tank cap

    My fuel cap is loose even though the seal is nearly new it vibrates and falls off(good job it's on a captive chain).It says on the cap "non vented".I have put a 2nd seal on with the 1st one.Now the cap in nice and tight.The question is does it need to be vented??

    Thanks for that info.The docs say it's a 57,probably a number someone made up due to lack of data plate.All i know is the info from the last owner who reckons it's ex USAF.He did say it got overhauled before leaving the military.Motor has 4616 hours and 9300 miles on the clock.i did find a date...

    CA Historic Plates

    We have it a bit easier over this side of the pond.Any vehicle built before 1970 is classed as a historic vehicle.Any vehicle built before 1960 is MOT exempt(MOT Ministry of transport roadworthyness test).So for my M35a2c i need to pay no road tax and no roadworthyness test.Just put fuel in it...

    Just a quick one....my M35a2 doesn't have a data plate on the dash.In the british log book it says it's a M35a2c.After studying the TM's i have come to the conclusion that owing to the dropsides it is a a2c W/O winch 2320-00-926-0873.New data plate ordered.I can't read the frame number very...
